London Camera Exchange
Великобритания
Добавлен 1 июл 2012
Welcome to the official London Camera Exchange RUclips Channel where we bring you the last releases from your favourite manufacturers!
We can trace our origins back to the 1950's where our founders acquired premises in Guildford's Tunsgate from which they operated a photography studio. The owners of Tunsgate Studios soon noticed that their customers were very interested in the equipment used in the studio and even went so far as to sell some of their old equipment. When customers started to offer other cameras in part exchange for newer or more expensive models the business, as it exists today was born.
To this day the Guildford branch still occupies the same premises as the original Tunsgate Studios but the business has grown to include a total of 26 shops spread throughout England, from Plymouth in the South West to Newcastle in the North.

Id love to see the top LCD mode screen on the R6 as it was in nearly every DSLR not including the rebel series. This makes portrait and wedding shooting so much easier since you don't have to use the back screen to get every bit of info needed.
У Canon всегда отличные камеры и объективы! 26 лет уже снимаю только на Canon!👍
Lol they couldn't even more the video/photo switch to the right side like many wanted. Could have swapped places with the power switch.
Do those cameras still support Dual Pixel Raw? If not, why?
Too much tech !!!!!!!!! 🙄
Wildlife photographers need more MP, while 24mp may suit sports and journalism in 2024 there is no excuse, we need a flagship with more mp tailored to wildlife, yes the R5 ii has 45mp but it is not as suitable as the R1 in terms of build and features not to mention the need for a large battery when using the Rf 600mm and Rf400mm
This is actually something I'm curious about. Canon actually advertised that the new battery from the R5ii would provide more power delivery at a significantly higher rate than the LPE6NH from the previous cameras starting with the R5 and R6. In fact it even shows it as a higher discharge rate than the LEP19 batteries used in the "1" line (R3 included) so I'm curious actually if the new batteries actually change this need
Time to buy R3 at a reduced price .......3999....
Finally we feel.....#getwellsooncanon
Will the R5 Mark 2 get shutter angle in a firmware update for video mode. This will make it easier to use when doing video shoots pairing it with my C70 and Future C400
wait for r5cii
I use Canon. Have for decades. But the R1 at 24mp vs. the Sony A9iii with a global shutter at 24mp and 120 frames per second.....Sony is kicking Canon's butt on the sensor side.
That Sony global shutter is giving up a lot of dynamic range. Wait until you see the sensor tests on DxOMark between the two cameras... The readout speeds of the R1 sensor are the fastest of any manufacturer negating the need for a global sensor.
Global sensor is just hyped
If you follow what from canon comes they already mentioned that global shutter it's not problem but there must be compromise in other things (like iso and Dr). So don't fall on stupid things on RUclips by people they get money from Sony. Exp , nobody ever mentioned the dust in Sony cameras. It's like desert,.
The global shutter is cool but the Dynamic Range is not there yet. A Global DGO sensor would be AMAZING
Is it though? I owned the R3 from launch… purchased the Sony A9III. Performed extensive testing between the two… sold the R3. The Sony’s dynamic range and noise performance is virtually the same as the R3 in stills mode. However, in video the A9III has noticeable more dynamic range. CineD recently did a lab test of the A9III… it placed higher in exposure latitude than any mirrorless camera before it. It did so well in fact, it tied the Red V-Raptor-X; Both scoring 9 stops of exposure latitude.
SAys its for stills but spends half the time talking about video.
Can i use this lens with my canon t7?
can you use the flash with TTL and HSS together?
Thanks for the overview. It looked like it was raining, were you concerned about the lack of weather sealing? Or will it hold up to a shower or two?
You are right, it was a bit of a wet and drizzly day. I wasn't too concerned about the rain as both myself and the camera weren't getting soaked and it appears to have held up well in the rain whilst I was shooting. I think it's a case of just taking care and sheltering as best you can.
can I use this speedlite el-5 as a external flash for my Canon R5?
Is it any good for astrophotography?
Unfortunately, we only had the EOS R5 Mark II (and EOS R1) for a short amount of time in the day, so I can't honestly say from experience if it would be but having seen the results from the low light shooting inside, I would expect good things.
does this flash work with my R5 as a off flash?
This was sa great video. Keep going. Thank you for making this.
Thanks for watching and for your feedback :)
Canon is such a strong brand! I am going to buy the R1 to replace my R3.
Thanks for watching
Very thorough initial review. Let’s see the quality of pictures, including in low light and dynamic range (16ev). Amazing camera it seems. I trust Canon. I am going to buy the R5m2!
Thanks for watching!
Interesting....what I don't get is what the camera exactly does if we choose AF-C and "not" "tracking"..In which case can I use it?
👏🏻
Thanks for watching
Does it overheat easily in 4k 24 fine ?
There's a little indicator that a bar increases when the camera is in operation and I did see it clock up one bar, however, the basketball arena was really really hot (I was sweating a lot) and both the EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II performed flawlessly the whole time I was shooting with them. It was a big, big improvement from Canon, and that was without the fan-assisted grip.
8k60p raw damn that impressive 😳 And no overheat? And that’s a hybrid camera
It was really impressive considering how hot the basketball arena was that we were shooting in. Sure I saw the heating level bar clock up a little, but not even half way.
I think it really is too little too late the A9 III hit the global shutter mark, pretty much making it a final purchase camera until the next massive upgrade to the amplifier stage to get cleaner higher gain or ISO.
That's an R5 Mark 1.5 actually
I was watching reviews and reviews to find a great photoshoot of nature and mountains taken from OM5 and finally I've got your review, you are a great photographer. There are few videos telling downside of OM5 but in few other reviews I found it's really a great camera which I can use for my Himalayan expeditions. A camera that can survive in rain and snow. Actually, I am looking for a lightweight and compact camera to use on high altitude expeditions in the Himalayas and I am expecting to get good quality photos of other mountains from the top of the summit. And I feel it's OM5. which would you recommend? is the OM5 a best option? I'll be very grateful if you guide me. Thank you.
Thats an edgy looking intro, i like! Some great shots Pete but how was the dreadded overheating?

A little more than I need.....but I want it! Great video
Thanks for watching!
Forget it, as soon as I see the damn side hinged flip out screen that Canon impose on us this camera is dead to me.
Not midrange in price.
umm.. yes it is.
@@Dezmond_Roman Nikon D850 that is still a top tier camera is not that much more, maybe if Nikon had not increased the price from the Z6ii I’d agree.
A great review, thank you 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Man, I should have picked a less expensive hobby. Would love this camera, way too poor to get it
Panasonic Sony and Canon have better autofocus also better value. Nikon is made in China poor quality overall not worth investing in.
I'm loving all of the video resolutions coming out in cameras now. I remember when 4k came on the scene and no one thought it wood be important.
Minimalist in every way except the price
what are its black and white images like?
Stills?
What lens was used to film the kayaking footage?
Why is my video so gray? I don’t want to color grade or
It is lightweight, affordable and delivers brilliant pictures, the ideal travel lens.
This is a wonderful video and I really enjoyed it.
Not a newly developed sensor, it's the same IMX461 as every 102MP *medium* format camera. Definitely hurts credibility when all you do is parrot Fujifilm's disingenuous marketing points.
The camera is a great travel camera or as a every day shooter with a host of primes and zoom lenses. This camera will not replace any of my full frame cameras, that being said their are many places where a full frame is not necessary and the compact size makes it easy to carry to places where a large camera is not the best option.
1 thing to note SFL doesn't have the back balanced design like SF.
Great review -- I like how your commentary was accompanied by plenty of photos and videos from the camera itself. I'm buying one, and you've gained a subscriber!
Thank you for the review, i want buy it in short future ;)
Settings 03.30
Do you think is a good camera for event and and low light situation ?
U dont need this camera (very expensive) if u ask this question.
No. It is a set piece camera. If you are doing low light event work, you should get a full frame camera with a fast lens.
There are many reviews that show the GFX camera paired with f/1.7 prime lens producing stellar low light results with superb background separation. If you can afford the GFX fast prime lenses, then by all means go for it. But you can get similar results after post-processing, with a Sony high res camera and fast prime lenses, for nearly half the price. DXO Photolab is my favorite software for cleaning up high ISO images.
X-T50 + XF 150-600mm! Saying that it'd be a very rare combination would be an understatement. lol 😆
The sharpness of your photos here is certainly a little more impressive than Duade Paton's at a tern colony, I dare say because he was using a 1.4 extender with it. So you will need stalking skills to benefit from that extra resolution, it seems...that's why I like the idea of videoscoping with a Swarovski ATX 85mm+Canon R5 - to avoid stalking!
